The Seven Best Tsum Tsum Sets Based on Disney Movies

For movie lovers who would like to start collecting Tsum Tsum plushes, here are some of the best Tsum Tsum based on Disney movies.

1. Inside Out. Although this Pixar movie has only been in theaters for a couple of weeks, its immense popularity, as well as the positive buzz before its release, virtually ensured that it would get a Tsum Tsum set. The Inside Out collection features the five emotions plus imaginary friend Bing Bong, and each mini-plush measures 3.5-inches.

2. Frozen. One of the most successful Disney films of all time, this set features mini-Tsum Tsums of human characters Anna, Elsa, Prince Hans and Sven as well as the snowman Olaf and the reindeer Kristoff.

3. Lilo and Stitch. While the movie that inspired this collection may not be as fondly-remembered as other Disney classics, Tsum Tsums of Stitch have been surprising best-sellers. Other characters from the movie immortalized as mini-Tsum Tsums include Lilo, Angel, Scrump and Duckling.

4. The Little Mermaid. This movie was credited with helping to usher in a new golden age for classic Disney animation after a long period when it was in the doldrums. The collection features the characters of Ariel, Prince Eric, King Triton, Sebastian, Flounder, Ursula, Max and Scuttle.

5. Alice in Wonderland. While this film was not as well-received as other Disney films on its initial release, it has since become acknowledged as a classic and its range of colorful characters easily lend themselves to being re-interpreted as Tsum Tsums. The collection includes Alice, the Cheshire Cat, the White Rabbit, the Queen of Hearts, the King of Hearts, the Mad Hatter, the Dormouse and the March Hare.

6. Toy Story. The first feature length animated film from Pixar immediately established the fledgling studio as one of the pioneer animation studios. Although the CGI-animation of Toy Story may not look as polished today, it still remains one of the classic animated films. The collection includes Buzz Lightyear, Woody, an Alien, Hamm the Pig, Peas in a Pod and Bullseye as well as Toy Story 2’s Jesse, Stinky Pete and Bear.

7. Pooh and Pals. Winnie the Pooh and his friends have been appearing in Disney movies since 1966 when his first short film, Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree was released. This collection of Tsum Tsum Japan toys is one of the most popular and features characters such as Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Owl, Tigger and Lumpy.
